Welcome to Torify. By using our app, you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). Please read them carefully.

1. About the Service

Torify is a mobile application that helps users organize amateur football (soccer) leagues. The app provides tools for creating leagues, generating balanced teams, tracking player statistics, managing match results, and communicating with league members.

2. Account Registration

• You must be at least 13 years old to use Torify.
• You must provide a valid email address and create a password.
• You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure.
• You must provide accurate information when creating your account.

3. User Conduct

When using Torify, you agree to:

• Use the app only for its intended purpose of organizing and managing amateur sports leagues
• Not post offensive, abusive, or inappropriate content in league chats
• Not share invite codes publicly in a way that could be abused
• Not attempt to access other users' accounts or data without authorization
• Not interfere with the app's functionality or attempt to exploit vulnerabilities
• Respect other league members and maintain fair sportsmanship

4. Leagues and Administration

• League creators ("Super Admins") are responsible for managing their league, including members, settings, and match data.
• Super Admins can appoint other admins and manage player rosters.
• League data, including statistics and match history, belongs to the league and is visible to all members.
• We are not responsible for disputes between league members.

5. Content and Data

• You retain ownership of any content you provide (profile photos, chat messages, player names).
• By using the app, you grant us a license to store, display, and process your content as necessary to provide the service.
• You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to share any content you upload.
• We may remove content that violates these Terms.

6. Push Notifications

If you enable push notifications, you may receive notifications about:

• Match day availability requests
• Team formation announcements

You can disable push notifications at any time through your device settings.

7. Account Deletion

You can delete your account at any time from the app's settings. When you delete your account:

• Your user profile data will be permanently removed
• Your player data across leagues will be deactivated
• Chat messages you sent will remain visible in league chats
• This action cannot be undone

8. Availability and Modifications

• We strive to keep Torify available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service.
• We may update, modify, or discontinue features at any time.
• We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the app constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

Torify is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the app will be error-free or that match statistics will be perfectly accurate. The team generation algorithm strives for balance but does not guarantee equal team strength.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of Torify. This includes, but is not limited to, damages related to match outcomes, team compositions, player statistics, or league disputes.

11. Privacy

Your use of Torify is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your data.
